My writing revolves around themes of spirituality, inner work, art, movement research, meditation, sustainability - Anything to do with conscious living and dance/movement as a medium to awareness. Subjects that have depth inspire my writing.

The How & What

Writing is something I love doing because it flows through naturally. It is a natural flow because I easily tune into things - People, places, themes, projects and feel it in its essence.

This is how I deliver my work. By diving deep into the intention of the subject I am to write about.

Be it Blog Writing with a specific theme where I communicate the intricate details of a subject within a concise article or Proposal Writing for art and sustainable projects, I see through the objective and vision of the project and communicate its goals with clarity. Social media content & website content is again something I am able to tap into by immersing in the subject of creation - By feeling into the core of a space, an idea, an event or whatever is being created. As long as it meets my genre of work, the inspiration will flow.

Writing through lived experience is key. Having an extensive background in dance/ performing/ movement research and movement meditation, I love working with dancers to write proposals, creating content for websites, movement analysis, guiding creative processes and articulating experience through words.

Research for any of the writing projects I take up is also an important aspect of my work. I am a curious being and I like to get to the root of things. I think it enhances the quality of my writing.

Akshara Vidhyaashram - The Vision

This was a book I wrote on the vision of the school that is based on the concept of happy schooling.
Writing this book was a very interesting & a healing journey. I spoke to the Alumni members of the school and wrote the book based on their experiences at school
